Brief Rant
Drat! Suitcase crashed, which means some poor, hapless font will now be designated as “Damaged” until I can be bothered to rebuild my database from scratch. God that bugs me! “The font ‘blahblah’ caused a crash.” Bullsh!t! You crashed ‘cause you suck, ya useless heap of code!

Fonts in the OS X era are a MAJOR peeve of mine. We now have bitmap(still!) Postscript, (Un)TrueType, and (Not so)OpenType Fonts... And Apple's Font Book is one of their cheesier apps... promises much. Delivers... not quite sure what, but half the time I log into my user, half my font sets fail to load... GRRRRRRR....
Then of course some client will send me some piece of crap they DESIGNED THEMSELVES in a bootleg copy of Fontgarapher... no hints, no kerning pairs.. and sure enough...
CRASHHHHHHHHHHHH...
Mutter. Grumble. Banzai.
